    Is Freelancing Right For You?
After spending 20 years in corporate America, I decided it was time for a change. It was time to step down from the long hours of laboring for someone else’s benefit, to say “no” to the business trips and after-hours functions, and to begin a new career as a freelance writer. Finally, I’d be able to enjoy the fruits of my own labor, set my hours, and pick and choose my clients and assignments. As I’m sure you can guess, becoming a successful freelancer wasn’t as easy as I expected it to be. Instead, it took a lot of

He would spend about 1 hour showing how the display sets up, tears down and discussing the types of graphics options you have, among other tradeshow related information. With the advent of the internet, as well as the natural maturation of the popup display product, the "sales demo" has become a thing of the past. The internet has allowed about anyone to become a distributor of somone's cheap, foreign-made portable tradeshow display. This is not all bad because the cost of displays

How To Get Sales Leads At Trade Shows
Getting sales leads is vital to every business. Every business has to have customers; and prospective clients are what they identify as sales leads. Even the teenage girl who is eyeing some fashionable clothes in a magazine can be considered a sales lead. The typical sales leads, however, are those that have the potential to be customers whom sales people get in touch with in many ways, several times before they jump into conclusions in buying and procuring the company’s product or service. For many years now, sales people have had a hard time generating sales leads.1. Great Potential For LeadsWhat they don’t know is that they do not go or visit some places

    Packaging Services
Several companies specialize in providing packaging services that are sourced by manufacturers to deliver well packaged products to their consumers. The existence and usage of highly sophisticated packaging equipment for different kinds of products has made good quality packaging a must for all products that reach retail shelves.Large scale manufacturers find it more cost effective to include a sophisticated packaging machine in the assembly line and turn out a packaged product ready to be shipped. However, for smaller manufacturers, investing in a packaging machine is not a viable option. So they opt for packaging services offered by specialists to give their pro

Gradient will not be intimidated by those who don't like our opinions and who want to strangle any and all negative comments with contentious litigation..." this is after overstock.com sues Gradient an independent research firm that it conspired to drive down its stock. Over the course of 2005, Overstock.com CEO Patrick Byrne issued pronouncements about short-sellers who were driving the company's stock into the ground. After listening to an Overstock conference call with investors in August, Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban posted to his blog a list of the topics Byrne covered: "Miscreants; an unnamed Sith Lord he hoped the feds would bury under a prison; gay bath houses; whether he was gay, does cocaine, both, or neither; phone taps; phone lines misdirected to Mexico; arrested reporters; payoffs; conspiracies; crooks; egomaniacs; fools; paranoia; which newspapers are shills and for who; money laundering; his Irish temper; false identities; threats; intimidation; and private investigators. All in 61 minutes." Cuban then short-sells 10,000 shares of Overstock.
