Article Writing - You Never Know How the Words You Write Will Help Another Person s - but also because it reflects the incredible diversity of the Central Florida golf landscape. Golf in Orlando provides its own type of outdoor adventure.Article writing is a great way to drive traffic to your web site and to market your business. But did you know that you may never know what the results of your articles might be? Did you know that you my never know who you might help? It's long been my strong belief, at a "soul-ullar" level as Mark Victor Hansen says, that if you have something inside of you that can help other people, you not only have a right to write, you have an obligation to write. You may never know how your words help another person.Today brought good news out of North Carolina - the Boy Scout that had been lost in the woods for four day was found alive. Tired and hungry, and alive. As a side note, the name of the dog that sniffed him out was Gandalf, which is a pretty cool name for a dog.It turns out that a book written for 9 -12 year olds was instrumental in helping the boy survive for four days. "Hatchet" by author Gary Paulsen is a story about a boy lost in the woods who survives with only his hatchet and his wits. The father and son read the book together chapter by chapter, and went over the survival techniques used in the book.As one dad to another - good job Dad!The author was interviewed on Fox News and you could just hear the wonder in his voice that a book he had written had a hand in saving someone's life.I wish him good sales.I just bought 3 copies myself on Amazon. You just never know how and who your words are going to help. 2. So it was a given that we would be playing a few rounds in Orlando. We had a chance to sample a number of golf courses first-hand and got a personal appreciation of the great number and variety of golf courses in the Orlando area. The Internet presents an amazing opportunity for anyone who knows how to research and write. There's masses of free information on the Web - all you have to do is gather it together and package it, and you have an E-Book that people will pay for."But if there's so much free information on the Web, why would anyone pay for my E-Book?", you may be wondering. The answer? Convenience! They'd rather buy your E-Book and save themselves the hours, days and weeks that you spent researching it and putting it all together.------------------------------ STEP 1: Writing Your E-Book ------------------------------Pick a Topic. It could be 'How to accept Credit Cards on the Web without having a Merchant Account'. Or it could be '25 Free Resources For Getting More Traffic', or it could be about Cooking, Gardening, Dog Breeding, etc.Write down the Title of your E-Book in the center of a blank page and circle it. If you can't think of a title yet, just write down the subject that your E-Book will be about (e.g. Dog Breeding). Then jot down 8 or 10 Basic Ordering Ideas (BOIs) in a radius around your E-Book title or concept. If you're having trouble coming up with BOIs, hold in your mind the title or concept of your E-Book and then ask yourself these questions: WHO, WHAT, WHERE, HOW and WHEN.Now connect the Basic Ordering Ideas to the E-Book title with outward-pointing arrows, like the spokes of a wheel.Under each BOI, draw a vertical line and against that line, jot down the sub-ideas that belong under that Basic Ordering Idea. I had a chance to talk with Mike Jamison from Golf Orlando to get a better overview of the extensive golf facilities that the Orlando area has to offer. 1. It illustrates how important cooperation, collaboration, and communication are to achieving the common goals of a successful organization.Anonymous SubmissionThe company where I work specializes in resolving customer service issues. The results of recent customer surveys convinced management that it was time to launch a company-wide performance improvement initiative. The version that was finally approved consisted of brief but intense training sessions in three areas: general customer service procedures, procedures and methods specific to each client serviced, and specific product issues and information. Three separate departments within the company were called upon to collaborate and make this initiative a success. Our HR department was responsible for coordinating and scheduling the training sessions. HR personnel also took on the task of procuring and delivering the general customer service training materials. The Customer Service Department's mission was to gather, organize and present information on specific client procedures, as well as to implement a procedure for updating the material to keep it current. The Technical Services Department called upon specially trained personnel to add to the general knowledge of all employees by identifying and explaining common troubleshooting issues. The general goal of this initiative was to improve communication and encourage ongoing collaborative efforts. Officials of the marketing co-op GolfOrlando realized that recently when they finally nailed the perfect marketing tag line for their 25-course organization. You’ve probably heard that real estate professionals establish home prices based on the sales prices of comparable properties in the immediate area. Real estate agents have access to computerized databases that list the size, features, amenities and selling prices of every property in the country for decades.Generally, the agent locates comparable properties with about the same square footage within a few blocks of your home. The comparable properties need to have the same number of bedrooms and bathrooms, and usually have similar features. Your home’s price is based on the selling price of those properties. That’s true…but of course, it’s more complex than that.Every home is unique. Even in an entire subdivision of nearly identical homes designed and built by one company, the homes will have differences in amenities and features. Some are more expensive options that the homebuyer added on during construction, like granite countertops or whirlpool tubs. Other amenities may have been added later, like built-in shelves, a sunroom or a hot tub. The art of home pricing comes into play in knowing what value to assign different amenities.Keep in mind that almost every home has some amenities, but not all amenities are equally valuable. In general, upgrades to kitchens and baths increase the home value more than other add-ones such as a fireplace, skylight or wood floors.Full attics with ceilings over 7 ft., and full, dry basements with good light are amenities that add value to a home, even if they have not been finished. It is a stand-alone, generic piece whose role is to give the following three impressions:1. "You're in good hands"; we know what we're doing, and here's who agrees; we have special training, and here's by whom; we belong to these trade associations; we have on-going training and monitoring of all aspects of our business; etc.2. Golf in Orlando provides its own type of outdoor adventure.THE BRAINThe Brain is the instrument of the mind, the body is the servant of the mind. The Brain is the most complex part of the nervous system. The Brain is surrounded and protected by the bones of the skull, by the meninges, and by the cerebrospinal fluid. The human brain is made of many parts. Each part has a specific function.1. To protect colour 2. Change sound into speech 3. To distinguish 4. To register fear 5. To recogniseBrain activity is controlled by currents and chemicals. Brain makes up only 2% of our body weight, but takes 20% of the energy produced. The energy comes from glucose and oxygen brought by the blood. When your blood glucose that is , sugar is low, you feel hungry and irritable. Your brain parts shut down its operation so that you become very weak and tired. Now lets look at the human brain. The human brain is as big as a coconut, almost the shape of a walnut. It has two hemispheres which are covered in a thin skin of deeply wrinkled grey tissue called the cerebral cortex. At the very back of the Brain, tucked under its tail lies the cerebellum the little brain. Each half of the cerebrum is split into four lobes.1. At the very back lies the Occipital lobe. The Occipital Lobe is made up entirely of visual processing areas.2. The lower side around the ears is the Temperol Lobe. Try a couple of very popular Ron Garl designs for a Scottish touch. Eagle Creek, located near the Orlando International Airport, offers open, rolling fairways, large, undulating greens and those dangerous revetted bunkers that dot the landscape in Scotland. Eagle Creek was recently ranked among the top 10 new courses of the decade in Florida by Golf Travel & Leisure, and is the first par 73 course in Orlando and the first to use Mini Verde greens. On the north side of Orlando is Timacuan Golf & Country Club, ranked as high as No. 14 in Florida by one statewide publication. Its front side offers up a true taste of Scotland, while the back 9 takes on a more Carolinas low Country feel. Hole 2, a long water-dominated par 4, was recently named the 2nd most difficult hole in Central Florida by an area publication. Timacuan is a locals’ favorite. A very similar routing by Arnold Palmer awaits you on the south side of town. The Legends at Orange Lake opened in 1998 and features a Scottish style front nine (The Links) and a tree-lined back nine (The Pines). The feature holes are the 610-yard 4th on the Links nine and the 432-yard 13th, called the Island Oak. In need of drama?
