    Health and Safety at Work
Not many would be aware of this, but the government has legislation for health and safety of people at work. The Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974 requires the employers to have proper health and safety management systems at work. The Act makes provision for securing the health of people at work, welfare and safety of the employees including the people who are not directly employed by the company like contractors and vi

The best type of counseling is from someone who’s going to be frank and honest with you; telling you things you really rather not hear; but it’s for your benefit and it could help improve your life if you take heed to it. Seniors Can Get Cash From Their Home Without Making Payments
How can you get cash out of your home? One way is to sell - but then you have to move. Another way is to take out a home equity loan. But then you'll have to pay it back.A third option - for those 62 and older, at least - is a reverse mortgage, which requires neither a move nor loan payments. Reverse mortgages are gaining in popularity, but are not well understood. They are like conventional mortgages turned upside-dow
While it seems to be good broadcasting on television, radio, the net, newspapers, and trade paperback magazines, hearing what we hear in the media and reading what we see in different publications may not always be the best advice for you. Everyone has scenarios that are different than others. Coming attached to what others have done in the past to overcome their obstacles may not apply or be beneficial for you. Life is not a one size fits all experience.

While it seems we all do the same thing each and everyday; we all are different and need to find the right advice for our own circumstances and situations. What works for you, may not work for the next person. We all go through different challenges at different times; yet each case is different because we are individuals with our own mindset and we decide on how to handle our own problems. I’m all for following the advice of others especially people in certain professions and others who have greater insights and more life experience than me. I’m limited to whom I’d get advice from though. Being a Christian sometimes makes this decision easier to a certain degree, but then, by the same token; it makes it tougher. Think about it; do everyone you do business with; believe the same way you do? I do attempt to surround myself with Godly advice. Proverbs 11:14 says “where there is no counsel the people fall; but in the multitude of counselors there is safety.” The bible is very clear on who should give Christians’ counseling.

I can remember when me and my former spouse went to see a psychotherapist for marriage counseling; this therapist claimed to be a Christian yet there were no biblical foundation in his counseling at all. I then told my wife; I was not going back because the therapist was not telling me anything I already didn’t know. And besides that, he wasn’t giving any good advice as well. I quit going because I was not comfortable with the conversations I had received from him. It’s important you and I get good counseling though from someone who’s realistic and practical. Calcium and Your Growing Child
Calcium is a necessary building block for strong and healthy bones. Yet the majority of children fail to get the recommended amount of milligrams of calcium per day. It is not surprising since many kids prefer soda over milk. But parents must insist that at every age, from infancy to adolescence, calcium is something kids simply can't afford to skip. Many people know that calcium is important but do not know what cal

Is Online Education Cheaper Than Traditional On-Campus Education?
Along with the widespread advantages of online education, wouldn’t that be an additional bonus if the tuition was cheaper as well? Contrary to popular belief, tuition fees for online education are not cheaper than your traditional brick and mortar college or university education. Current information that boasts cheaper online education can be misleading. There are a lot of “what ifs” when it comes to education costs.

Christian Trend Turns Believers into Billboards
A growing movement is seeing everyday Christians sharing their faith in some very distinctly non-church settings. Its called lifestyle evangelism - using the places and situations you find yourself in each day to share your faith. And it's often done without words at all, through the wearing of Christian clothing and Christian jewelry. The design and style of religious clothing has changed greatly over th
