If you are an individual like me trying to find that right business to generate the income you want then this article is for you. I am sure if you check your email you have been bombarded with “start your own business” ads. I have always wanted my own business. But which one do you choose? They all seem to claim the same thing. However, I did not have a huge amount of money available to me. So, I was constantly stuck in a catch 22. I wanted to increase my income but needed additional resources to do so. Resources, which I did not have nor did I, have the means to get.

So, with limited funds but large dreams, I started paying closer attention to the business offers I was receiving in my personal emails.
Which one is for me?
However, the best way to choose is to look for those offers that really interest you. For example, I chose a dollar shop. I love shopping at dollar stores and finding great bargains. So, having an online dollar store is very close to what I do now, which is, actually shopping at dollar stores. Don’t simply choose an online business idea for the monetary claims. If the idea or area does not interest you then you most likely will not spend the time and effort needed to make your business successful. You can get an email or see an ad that boasts thousands of dollars with little or no effort. In my case, I have found that you get what you pay for. If you really want your business to be successful you have to work at it everyday.

If you are like me and have big dreams with little cash then look for those business offers that:
1. Require a small start-up fee, which includes a trial period. The convenience of a trial period is that it allows you time to see if this is a business you can be truly committed to without wasting a lot of time and money. However, you must cancel before the trial period is over if you do not want to be charged additional fees.
2. Include the online web store as part of the trial package. If you are not an expert in html code, domain names, web hosting, or web page design, then try a business that offers what I call an “already made” online store. If you are just starting out then that is the least expensive way to go. A “ready made” design does not allow for much flexibility in the look of the store but it is a great starting point. I have the ability to design a web page in my mind but that is as good as it gets.
